Affiverse Assets
Role: Digital Designer & Social Media Designer
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
Format: Digital — Social ads, banner ads, web, Print
Duration: 12 months
Project Overview
The Problem
Affiverse operates across multiple revenue streams simultaneously — media partnerships, podcast sponsorships, webinars, live events, a print and digital magazine, and a training programme (AMPP). Each channel needed its own visual assets, but all had to feel like they came from the same brand. The challenge wasn't just designing individual pieces — it was building and maintaining a coherent visual identity system across dozens of asset types, formats, and campaigns without the brand fragmenting over time.
The Process
Over twelve months I produced a continuous stream of on-brand digital assets across every touchpoint Affiverse uses to reach its 50,000+ community. The work fell into five distinct categories, each requiring a different design approach:
Social content graphics — Data-led stat cards, service awareness posts, and milestone celebrations (including the Affiverse Turns 5 anniversary posts) built around bold type and the navy/teal palette. Each post was designed to stop the scroll with a single clear message.
Paid and organic ad banners — Multi-format ad sets produced in multiple sizes simultaneously (square, landscape, leaderboard) for campaigns promoting the media kit, podcast advertising, magazine issues, and webinar bookings. Every set was built to work across LinkedIn, display, and email environments without resizing compromising the design.
Podcast episode artwork — A consistent episode template system for the Affiliate Marketing Podcast with Lee-Ann Johnstone, incorporating guest photography, episode titles, season/episode tags, and sponsor branding — produced at volume across two seasons.
Event and conference assets — Co-branded social graphics for external appearances including SiGMA Africa, Cape Town 2025, adapting third-party event branding into Affiverse's visual language for speaker announcement posts.
Training and product graphics — Promotional assets for AMPP (Affiliate Management Performance Programme) and the Affiverse Magazine across both print and digital formats, including launch graphics, issue promotion banners, and QR-coded download CTAs.
Throughout the year, the design system was refined iteratively — the magazine promotion graphics evolved across four issues, the podcast template was updated between seasons, and the ad creative was refreshed to prevent audience fatigue.
The Outcome
A sustained, high-volume design output that kept Affiverse's brand consistent and competitive across every channel for a full year. Every asset — from a 300x250 banner ad to a full-page magazine promotion — carried the same visual authority, ensuring that whether a prospect encountered Affiverse through a podcast ad, a LinkedIn post, or a live event, the brand landed with the same weight.
